Chelsea news: Stan Collymore delivers Premier League title and top four prediction
CHELSEA and Arsenal will finish outside of the top four this season, Stan Collymore reckons.
Chelsea manager Sarri hopes Thibaut Courtois stays at the club
Maurizio Sarri took charge of his first competitive Chelsea fixture yesterday as the Blues were dominated by Manchester City in their Community Shield clash.
City ran out 2-0 winners at Wembley, with Chelsea struggling against the Premier League champions.
Sarri has signed just two players this summer, with Jorginho and Rob Green heading to Stamford Bridge.
The former Napoli boss is keen to spend before Thursday’s transfer deadline, as well as keeping hold of Chelsea’s key players.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have had a busy transfer window, with Unai Emery signing five players this summer.
City, Liverpool, United, Spurs
The Gunners, like Chelsea, are without Champions League football this year after failing to finish in the top four last season.
And former Premier League star Collymore says Arsenal and Chelsea will miss out again this season, providing Tottenham push through a couple of late deals this week.
When asked for his top four prediction, Collymore wrote on Twitter: “City, Liverpool, United, Spurs (need freshness in the squad, pronto, just to say ‘nobody's place should be taken for granted’).”

Tottenham are yet to sign anyone so far this summer, however, Spurs are keen to land Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish.
City are hoping to win their second consecutive Premier League title after dominating last season.
Pep Guardiola’s men broke the 100-point barrier en route to their first title since 2014, losing just two league games.
