Manchester United players get ready for final pre-season match
Manchester United compete in their final pre-season friendly this evening before the opening weekend of the Premier League when they face Leicester on Friday night (7.30pm).
United have so far had mixed results in pre-season, drawing against Club America, San Jose Earthquakes and AC Milan while losing 4-1 to Liverpool.
But their most recent result was a 2-1 win over La Liga giants Real Madrid with both Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera getting on the scoresheet.
Jose Mourinho will still be without a number of his first team players due to injuries and World Cup commitments.
Paul Pogba is yet to return from his break and Anthony Martial, who has been strongly linked with a move away from Old Trafford, hasn’t travelled with the squad to Germany.
United could still be busy in the final days of the transfer window as Mourinho seeks at least one more defensive recruit.
