Despite a penalty shoot-out defeat to Arsenal on Wednesday, Hudson-Odoi excelled playing in a wide role.
And Sarri has hinted that the youngster, who turns 18 in November, is part of his first-team plans for next season.
“Hudson-Odoi is a very young player. We have to wait,” he said.
In the future he will be a very, very strong player for sure
“In the future he will be a very, very strong player for sure.
“He will stay with us [in the first team] for the season."
Meanwhile, Sarri is unsure about Willian’s future.
The Brazilian has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Barcelona.
He said: “In this moment, no [I can’t comment on it].
“I will see him on Saturday for the first time so I don’t know the situation in this moment.
“I think there is no news.”
