CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri enquired about signing PSG striker Edinson Cavani.

The Italian is keen to spend in this transfer window after replacing Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have completed just one signing so far this summer, with Napoli midfielder Jorginho heading to west London.
And according to French outlet CulturePSG, Sarri is hoping to be busy in the coming weeks.
They say the Blues tabled an offer for Cavani, enquiring about the Uruguay international’s availability this summer.
However, CulturePSG say the French giants snubbed Chelsea’s proposal, informing Sarri the 31-year-old isn’t available.

Real Madrid and Sarri’s former side Napoli are also in the hunt for PSG superstar Cavani.
The Spanish giants see the striker as an ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who quit the Bernabeu in favour of a move to Juventus.
Napoli, meanwhile, have over £50m to spend this summer following Jorginho’s switch to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are keen to spend big this summer to mount a top-four charge this season.
The Blues are fully focused on domestic competitions this year after failing to secure Champions League football last time out.
