Arsenal transfer news: Unai Emery chasing one more deal after Kingsley Coman admission
ARSENAL boss Unai Emery wants one more transfer this summer despite Kingsley Coman ruling out a Bayern Munich exit.
Kingsley Coman would be 'fantastic' for Arsenal says fan
Arsenal boss Emery has been tipped to sign Coman from Bayern Munich amid uncertainty over the player’s long-term future.
However, the France international has already admitted he wants to stay at the Allianz Arena for a new era under Niko Kovac, who succeeded Jupp Heynckes earlier this summer.
Arsenal have already had a successful window, luring five players to the Emirates in the form of Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno, Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.
And Football London claim the Gunners still want one more addition.
Emery suggested he was open to further strengthening his squad for the right player, recently saying: "We signed the players who we needed and only if one player is a big opportunity for us will we sign them.
"At the moment, I think the squad is complete.
“We will only sign another player if there is an opportunity to bring in that one player, or two players.”
Football London claim Arsenal are keen to bring a winger in before the deadline shuts on August 9.
But, at the moment, that looks easier said than done.
Bordeaux winger Malcom, who was heavily tipped to sign during the January transfer window, is nearing a move to Barcelona.
Arsenal fan: Unai Emery could sell up to SEVEN players
And PSV Eindhoven have ruled out selling Hirving Lozano, who impressed at the World Cup for Mexico.
Coman, meanwhile, denied reports linking him with an Arsenal switch.
"That’s not true,” he said.
"I’ve had no contact with Arsenal.
"I’ve just extended my contract here at Bayern and I’m planning to stay for many more years."
