Man Utd want Boateng
Manchester United have made a move to sign Bayern Munich centre-back Jerome Boateng.
German magazine Kicker claim United are hoping to secure a deal for the defender before the Premier League transfer window closes.
Boateng, 29, has been at Bayern since 2011 after leaving Manchester City.
The Germany international is supposedly available for around £53m (€60m).
Martial to Bayern
Manchester United have agreed to sell Anthony Martial this summer.
However, they want £60m for the forward.
Express Sport understands Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Tottenham want Martial - with United keen for him to go abroad.
The Frenchman was offered the chance to remain at Old Trafford but has told bosses he wants out.
Martial has less than three weeks to secure a move away from Jose Mourinho’s United.
He played in the 0-0 draw with San Jose on Sunday.
Mourinho giving up?
Jose Mourinho has hinted that Manchester United may not be signing his top targets this summer.
United have already signed Diogo Dalot and Fred in the summer window, while Lee Grant has also arrived.
But speaking after United’s 0-0 draw with San Jose, Mourinho suggested transfers are out of his control.
"One thing is what I want and another thing is what is going to happen," he said.
United are in the United States on their pre-season tour and there is just over two weeks left of the transfer window.
Barcelona battle
Barcelona’s £65m bid for Manchester United target Willian is being considered by Chelsea.
Barcelona want to snap up Willian ahead of Jose Mourinho’s Red Devils.
And the Mail reckon Chelsea are close to accepting the offer.
Willian has been on Mourinho’s radar ever since the manager joined United in 2016.
The 29-year-old looks set to be axed by Chelsea in order to fund new boss Maurizio Sarri’s own targets.

Mourinho showdown talks
Jose Mourinho is set for showdown talks with Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
Express Sport understands the Portuguese manager wants to discuss new signings in this transfer window.
He wants positive news on deals after signing just three players all summer.
United headed into the transfer window with high expectations of securing a number of new players.
Leicester’s Harry Maguire, Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowksi remain on Mourinho’s radar.
