Ivan Perisic injury: What is wrong with Croatia star? Will he last in World Cup final?
IVAN PERISIC has passed a fitness test ahead of Croatia’s World Cup final with France today.
Ivan Perisic has been one of Croatia’s star performers at the World Cup this summer.
The 29-year-old has scored two goals in the tournament so far.

He bagged the equaliser in Croatia’s 2-1 semi-final victory over England on Wednesday.
But the winger may not last the full 90 minutes in the final in Moscow today.
Ivan Perisic injury
So what’s wrong with Ivan Perisic? He had an ice pack applied to his left hamstring during the semi-final win over England.
Croatia are keeping tight-lipped as to exactly what the injury is.
However, were it to be a hamstring strain then Perisic would struggle to execute his explosive pace in the World Cup final against a nippy France side.
Perisic starts
Ivan Perisic is in the Croatia starting XI for the 2018 World Cup final.
Croatia have not made any changes from the side that beat England on Wednesday.
However, it remains to be seen if Perisic will prove fit enough to play the full game in Moscow.
Croatia have gone to extra time in all three of their knockout games this summer.
Perisic on the final
Discussing the prospect of playing in the World Cup final, Perisic said: “France stopped us in the semi-finals in 1998.
“We will have some extra motivation because of that, for sure. But this is a totally different story.
“They are favourites, but we will do our best to surprise them. We have three days to prepare ourselves.
“We are all happy to be staying in Moscow, that was our goal. Our dream is so close now.”
