‘He’d suit Man Utd down to the ground’: David Seaman backs £50m transfer deal
HARRY MAGUIRE has been backed to join Manchester United this summer after a stunning World Cup.
David Seaman: Man United would suit Harry Maguire
The Leicester defender helped guide England to the semi-finals of the tournament before they crashed out to Croatia in extra-time on Wednesday.
Maguire has been one of the standout performers for Gareth Southgate’s side and his displays have earned rave reviews back home.
That has led to interest from a host of top clubs with the bookies making United the favourites to prise him away from Leicester in a £50m move.
The Daily Mail claim United would be willing to pay up to £50m to bring him north despite the Foxes being desperate to keep hold of the player they paid Hull £17m for last year.

And former England goalkeeper David Seaman says Maguire would have no problem fitting into Jose Mourinho’s plans should a deal take place.
When asked about United’s interest in Maguire, Seaman told talkSPORT: “It wouldn’t surprise you with the tournament he’s had would it?
“He’s been brilliant.
“And I’m sure there’ll be a couple of other players linked with big moves.
