Kieran Trippier: Will England World Cup star leave Tottenham? Robson transfer verdict
ENGLAND World Cup star Kieran Trippier will NOT leave Tottenham despite impressing at this summer’s tournament in Russia.
That is according to former Arsenal midfielder turned pundit Stewart Robson.
Trippier has started all but one of England’s games at the World Cup so far, with him being rested for the final group game against Belgium.

With Gareth Southgate adopting a 3-5-2 formation, Trippier has been used in the right wing-back position.
His pace and crossing ability from dead-ball situations has impressed many fans during the World Cup.

He was not a guaranteed starter at Tottenham last season following the arrival of Serge Aurier.
But Robson believes Spurs are the right club for him to progress his career.
“For Tottenham I’ve not always been a great fan of his, but for England he’s been exceptional,” he told ESPN FC.
“He’s got crosses in, he’s got great pace going down that right-hand side. He hasn’t been exposed defensively.

“I would say, Kieran Trippier, Tottenham is the right club for him at the moment.
“I think he is guaranteed his place in the side.
“Kieran Trippier will be staying at Spurs.”
Trippier scored the opener for England against Croatia in the semi-final tonight with a stunning free kick.
