EDINSON CAVANI has sent a rallying call to all Uruguay fans ahead of their World Cup clash with France.

Uruguay take on France today for a place in the World Cup semi-finals.
But Cavani has not made the starting XI for the 3pm kick off in Nighy Novgorod due to a calf problem.
Fans back at home have been praying for the PSG striker to be fully fit for the clash.

And he sent a message to his supporters on Twitter less than three hours before kick off.
“We always feel you are with us,” he wrote.

The rallying call may give some fans confidence that Cavani will play in the game today.
Is Edinson Cavani injured?
Edinson Cavani was injured in Uruguay’s 2-1 win over Portugal last time out.
He scored both goals in the last-16 that dumped the European champions out of the World Cup.

But a calf injury sustained in the 74th minute meant the forward was forced off the pitch.
Cavani has been battling to be fit for today’s 3pm kick off and trained on his own on Thursday.
He is not in the starting XI but has made the bench.
