Neymar injury: Brazil ace limps out of training ahead of Costa Rica clash – Worrying pics
NEYMAR has been spotted limping out of Brazil training, sparking fears the superstar forward will miss Friday's clash with Costa Rica.
Neymar is a doubt for Brazil’s next World Cup match against Costa Rica after limping out of training on Tuesday afternoon.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward played the full 90 minutes during the 1-1 draw with Switzerland on Sunday, but is now a doubt for the remaining Group E matches.
Neymar was spotted being helped off the field by a physio after just 15 minutes of training, having clutched his ankle during a rondo drill.
The 26-year-old was on the receiving end of several hefty challenges against Switzerland, and Brazil’s team doctor has since confirmed these were the cause of his injury.
Brazil manager Tite has a number of options available if Neymar is unable to play against Costa Rica, with Liverpool ace Roberto Firmino most likely to come into the starting XI.
