Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp winning Real Madrid job battle, makes Bayern demand - report
LIVERPOOL manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly winning the battle to be the next Real Madrid manager - and has supposedly issued a Bayern Munich demand.
Jurgen Klopp reflects on Liverpool's Champions League loss
Liverpool boss Klopp has worked wonders during his time at Anfield, steering the Reds to three finals in as many years.
However, Real Madrid are reportedly keen for him to be their next boss in the wake of Zinedine Zidane’s departure.
Zidane quit last week and, since then, claims have emerged saying Los Blancos are determined to lure Klopp away from Liverpool.
Express Sport understands the 50-year-old is unlikely to swap Merseyside for Madrid.
But Spanish outlet Don Balon insist that Klopp may yet take over from Zidane.
He has reportedly issued a transfer demand to Los Blancos, ordering James Rodriguez to be recalled.
The Colombia international joined Bayern Munich last year after falling down the pecking order.
But, with Zidane gone, there is a chance he may yet salvage his Real future.
Don Balon say Klopp has told club president Florentino Perez to work on a comeback.
Yet, despite that, a premature Liverpool exit seems unlikely.

Rodriguez has blossomed during his time at Bayern, resembling the £60million player he was four years ago.
And, speaking in April, he refused to rule out a Real return.
“I have great respect for all the people here,” he said prior to the Champions League clash between the two teams.
“I felt happy when I was here at Real Madrid.”
