Did you see the SHOCKING outburst from Zlatan Ibrahimovic during MLS clash? WATCH
THIS is the moment Zlatan Ibrahimovic was sent off for slapping Michael Petrasso during LA Galaxy’s clash with Montreal Impact.
MSL: Ibrahimovic gets red card for lashing out at player
Ibrahimovic – who swapped life in Manchester for LA in March – was given his marching orders just before half-time in the clash at Stade Saputo.
Petrasso appeared to stand on Ibrahimovic’s foot in the 39th minute and shockingly, the former Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain striker reacted by slapping the Impact star on the side of the head.
Both players went to the ground in the incident, Ibrahimovic clutching his seemingly injured ankle while Petrasso was seen holding his head.
The referee then consulted VAR (virtual assistant referee) and then handed Petrasso a yellow before giving Ibrahimovic a straight red.

And fans were furious with Ibrahimovic’s violent conduct with many taking to Twitter to slam the striker.
“Ibra deserved that red, 100%. Just cause you're a legend, doesn't mean you're above the laws of the MLS,” one fan wrote.
Another said: “Slowly losing respect for Zlatan…”
Swede Ibrahimovic enjoyed an impressive start to life at LA Galaxy, netting twice during his debut as Galaxy came from behind to beat city rivals Los Angeles FC 4-3.
However, Galaxy have stuggled for form in recent weeks, losing five of their last six games since Ibrahimovic’s arrival Stateside.
