The 22-year-old had spent the season on loan at the La Liga side.
He has struggled to make an impact at United since joining the club four years ago.
And the former Brazil youth player revealed his regret at leaving Valencia for a return to England.
“I arrived at Valencia with the aim of helping the club reach the place it belongs and together we have achieved our aim,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Today, I return to Manchester United.

“But I will carry this club and the fans in my heart forever. Thanks to everyone.”
Pereira made 29 appearances for Valencia this season, scoring once.
Valencia finished fourth in Spain’s top flight to book their spot in the Champions League group stages for next season.
Pereira is likely to head out with the United team on their pre-season tour of the USA this summer.
They are scheduled to play Club America and San Jose Earthquakes during their tour, as well as AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid.
