CHELSEA’s turmoil this season is a big reason why Manchester United will win the FA Cup this afternoon.

That is the verdict of ESPN FC pundit and former Arsenal striker Paul Mariner.
Manchester United are favourites heading into the Wembley showdown (5.15pm).
The FA Cup is both clubs’ last chance to win some silverware this season after poor Champions League campaigns and Manchester City’s mesmeric rise under Pep Guardiola in the Premier League.
But United will be happier than Chelsea with their league finish, as they ended the season in second, 11 points clear of the fifth-placed Blues who missed out on Champions League qualification.

There have been question marks over Chelsea both on and off the pitch, with the future of manager Antonio Conte and star man Eden Hazard up in the air.
And Mariner says that is why he gives United the edge this evening.
“I think because of what’s happened at Chelsea,” Mariner said.
“They’re all over the place, they don’t have any cohesion.

“Hazard’s making ridiculous noises about recruitment. I didn’t know players did recruiting in football clubs.
“I think Manchester United have got the togetherness, (Alexis) Sanchez always seems to score at Wembley, can he do it for Man United?
