West Ham news: Slaven Bilic gets a job while Hammers scramble for new manager
SLAVEN BILIC has finally landed a new job - as a TV pundit for the World Cup!
West Ham sacked Slaven Bilic in November
West Ham sacked Bilic back in November after a run of results left them in the relegation zone.
The Hammers eventually survived the drop following David Moyes’ interim spell in charge.
Bilic has been out of work since but there appears very little chance of him coming back to the London Stadium this summer.
And it appears as though the former Croatia boss may not have too many managerial offers on the table.
That is because ITV have confirmed Bilic will be part of their punditry team for theWorld Cup in Russia.
The tournament runs from 14 June to 15 July, meaning Bilic would likely have to leave the ITV studio if a club came in for him over pre-season.
Bilic himself is no stranger to the World Cup.
He played in the 1998 edition of the tournament and infamously got France defender Laurent Blanc red carded in the semi-finals.
He also managed Croatia at Euros 2008 and 2012, but missed out on qualification for the 2010 World Cup.

West Ham have decided to let David Moyes go
He will be joined on the ITV sofa by Manchester United legends Gary Neville, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and Henrik Larsson, as well as ex-England players Ian Wright and Lee Dixon.
As for West Ham, they are on the search for another new manager after talks with Moyes today ended with the Scot set to depart the club.
Unai Emery, Manuel Pellegrini and Rafa Benitez are all supposedly in the running for the vacancy.
