LIVERPOOL legend Steven Gerrard is pleased with Jurgen Klopp’s team selection against Roma tonight.
James Milner started for Liverpool against Roma in the Champions League semi-final
Klopp did not spring any surprises in his starting line-up for the Champions League semi-final first-leg clash.
Captain Jordan Henderson returned to the side after missing the quarter-final second-leg win over Manchester City.
Henderson is joined in midfield by two other Englishmen in James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Gerrard is particularly pleased to see Milner in the side ahead of Dutchman Georginio Wijnaldum.

Milner impressed in the two legs against former side City.
“I think Milner deserves to stay in there,” Gerrard said on BT Sport.
“There was talk of Milner or Wijnaldum.
“Wijnaldum is a good player but I think Milner’s performances over the two legs against City, he was probably the first name on the team sheet for me.”

Gerrard's colleague Frank Lampard believes a repeat of Liverpool's performance against City will see them win comfortably tonight.
“They were organised, but when they break they break," Lampard said.
“They’ve got such a great way of playing now and if they can get their game-plan perfect, you can expect them to get a good win here tonight.”
