Liverpool fans are angry that Roberto Firmino has been overlooked in favour of Sergio Aguero in the 2017/18 PFA Team of the Year.
Reds supporters believe the Brazilian warrants a place alongside Mohamed Salah in the elite XI after his tireless efforts this season.
However, Aguero and four of his Manchester City team-mates got the nod this time around – taking the club’s total up to 14 players in the last 10 teams.
This haul puts City fourth in the table when it comes to the most players picked, nine adrift of rivals Manchester United.
David De Gea was the only Old Trafford star selected this year, meaning the chasing pack have closed the gap when it comes to PFA Team of the Year bragging rights over the last decade.
