Premier League table: Standings based on Mark Lawrenson predictions – Spurs lead Liverpool
THE PREMIER LEAGUE table would look very different if Mark Lawrenson had predicted every top-flight result correctly so far this season.
How would the Premier League table look based on Mark Lawrenson's Premier League predictions?
BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is renowned for being a shrewd predictor of Premier League results, easily seeing off celebrities in his weekly column.
The former Liverpool defender is usually pretty accurate with his calls, meaning we could be in line for a dull weekend of football based on his latest offerings.
However, Lawrenson has consistently overestimated certain teams in the top flight this season such as Southampton and West Brom.
While the 60-year-old has backed these two sides to pick up way more points than they actually have done, he has also wildly underestimated the performance of the Premier League new boys.
Lawrenson has got things nailed on at the sharp end of the table, although the Champions League spots would look a little different with his old club falling behind Tottenham.
Take a look through the gallery above to see how the Premier League table would look based purely on Mark Lawrenson’s Premier League predictions.
