Man Utd striker Romelu Lukaku is ‘fed up’... Jose Mourinho is to blame - Sky Sports pundit
MANCHESTER UNITED star Romelu Lukaku is “fed up” with accusations that he does not deliver in big games.
Lukaku scores first Man United goal during pre-season friendly
Lukaku - with 14 league goals to his name this season - has been branded a flat-track bully because of his prolific record against teams in the bottom-half of the Premier League.
In contrast, the Belgium international has scored just once in seven games against United’s top-six rivals this season.
But former Premier League star Matt Le Tissier believes Jose Mourinho’s tactics are to blame for his vanishing act.
“I think he's a bit fed up with all of the suggestions that he can't deliver in the big games but I think it has something which has been caused by something out of his control - Manchester United's tactics against the top six,” Le Tissier said.
“He doesn't strike me as a player who is bothered about what people say about him and if United create chances then he'll put them away.

Lukaku will hope to silence his critics when United face Liverpool (12.30pm).
A defeat would damage either sides’ hopes of securing a second-place finish but Le Tissier is expecting an open game with plenty of goals.
He told Sky Sports: “I feel like both teams are more bothered about not losing than winning, but I fancy Liverpool to break through United's backline, open the scoring and jolt United into some attacking play.
“It will be a good test of how Virgil Van Dijk, who has strolled through some games without having a hard time, will get on against a much tougher test with United's attacking power and pace.”
