Why Liverpool’s Champions League rivals will be running scared - Dixon
LIVERPOOL will be the team everyone will want to avoid in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Jurgen Klopp's men are in ominous form
That is the view of ITV Sport pundit Lee Dixon.
Liverpool reached the last eight of the Champions League for the first time in nine years after a goalless draw against Porto in the second leg of their last 16 tie at Anfield on Tuesday.
Although Jurgen Klopp made some changes to his starting XI, his side didn’t need to be in full flow as they sauntered to a 5-0 victory in the first leg.
And Dixon thinks Liverpool’s ominous form will be worrying their European rivals.
They can score against anybody. Defensively they have improved. It won’t be an easy game for anyone
“Nobody will want to get Liverpool in the Champions League as much as from an attacking point of view,” Dixon told ITV Sport.
“Their front three are just outstanding.
“They can score against anybody. Defensively they have improved.
“It won’t be an easy game for anyone against them.”

Klopp’s men will learn of their quarter-final opponents when the draw is made a week on Friday.
A trip to face Manchester United on Saturday (12.30pm) is next in store for the Anfield outfit.
A win will enable them to take a giant step forward in their bid to secure a top-four finish.
