A tweet from the Twitter account Football Battles asked it's followers for three words to sum up Dele Alli.
And a quote tweet from Nelson said: "Suck my d**k."
The tweet was swiftly deleted from Nelson's account and the player claimed he had been hacked and issued an apology.
Nelson tweeted: “Sorry if the previous tweet offended anyone. My twitter was hacked and I just got it back now.
“Shout out to the hacker though, you could've killed me.”

Nelson, one of the brightest young prospects at Arsenal, is currently with his team-mates in Italy ahead of tomorrow night's Europa League clash with AC Milan.
The 18-year-old is likely to start the match on the bench as the Gunners look to reverse a poor run of form.

"When you have bad results
Reiss Nelson travelled with the Arsenal team for the clash with AC Milan on Thursday
"We need to be focus on our game against Milan, to be together. That’s the most important thing. It doesn’t matter what’s going on outside. We need to stay together like a team.
"We are in a negative spiral. It’s a little hard to get out of it but I think we need to focus on the positive vibes. When you think about negative things you will say, ‘OK, it’s true, we’re not good’. Positive vibes can give us more and more confidence, and we have to believe in our quality.
"I think we have quality, it’s just about being able to play with freedom. We have a top team with great guys and we need to show this on the pitch. We can build confidence by coming back with a win.
"Step by step we will come back stronger, but we need to work together, focus on our game and get the result we need to be at the top."
