Robert Lewandowski makes surprise claim against Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi
ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI has claimed Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have it easy when it comes to scoring goals.
Robert Lewandowski has scored 20 Bundesliga goals this season
Bayern Munich star Lewandowski is one of Europe’s most lethal goalscorers.
The Poland international is the top scorer in the Bundesliga this season with 20 to his name already.
He has two previously won the golden boot in Germany.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, meanwhile, have broken scores of records in Spain for their attributes in front of goal for Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.
But Lewandowski reckons it’s harder for him to find the net - because he is played in a more difficult position.

It is easier when you have the pitch in front of you
"Messi and Ronaldo have an advantage (over me) because they aren't classic number nines,” Lewandowski told Kicker.
“For a central striker it is more difficult sometimes because you have your back towards goal.
"You have to keep the ball, see what is happening, turn around and then go forward.

Messi will likely start for Barcelona against Chelsea on Tuesday, while Ronaldo scored twice in Real’s 3-1 win over PSG last week.
