Chelsea legend Drogba shows Azpilicueta support following defender’s rallying cry
CHELSEA legend Didier Drogba has given his support to Blues defender and former teammate Cesar Azpilicueta after the Spaniard took to Twitter to issue a rallying cry in the wake of his side’s humiliating defeats to Bournemouth and Watford.

Chelsea have experienced a tough start to 2018, with just two wins in 10 games.
They now find themselves 19 points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Arsenal and rumours of manager Antonio Conte’s exit continue to run rampant.
The champions’ last two fixtures have seen them concede seven goals, which has left the mood at Stamford Bridge understandably dampened.
Azpilicueta, who has missed just one of Chelsea’s 26 Premier League matches so far, took to social media after their 4-1 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road to issue a rallying cry for his teammates and the Chelsea supporters.

The tweet read: “Difficult moments will make us stronger,” and it caught the eye of Drogba.
The Ivorian, who plans to retire from professional football later this year, tweeted his former teammate the words “Keep it up” in a display of support encouragement.

Drogba built a career out of producing big moments in big matches for Chelsea over two spells at Stamford Bridge and it’s something the Blues are severely lacking right now, particularly with striker Alvaro Morata’s recent struggles with form and injury.
The 39-year-old Drogba scored 157 goals for Chelsea and won four Premier League, four FA Cups, three League Cups and the Champions League with the club between 2004 and 2015.
