Real Madrid news: Sergio Ramos helps make Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi transfer decision
REAL MADRID skipper Sergio Ramos is helping the club formulate their summer transfer plans and has reportedly helped them choose between Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi.
Shaka Hislop says Harry Kane will leave Tottenham this summer
The Spanish giants have been below par by their high standards this season and currently sit fourth in La Liga, 19 points adrift of leaders Barcelona.
And their Copa del Rey exit at the hands of cross-city rivals Leganes last week compounded the disappointment many Real fans are feeling.
Real have been linked with a whole host of top talent as they look to get themselves on track.
With the January transfer window almost up and deals today highly unlikely, the latest reports from Spain suggest Real are busy planning for the summer.
According to Don Balon, Ramos has been speaking to Florentino Perez and co. about who to sign.
And some of their discussions have centred on striker targets Kane and Icardi.
Kane enjoyed a staggering 2017 with Tottenham and has been talked up as a potential future Galactico.
However, it seems Ramos has swayed Real towards Icardi, with that being the preference of a few team-mates.

Florentino Perez is looking to freshen Real Madrid up by signing Harry Kane or Mauro Icardi
Inter Milan ace Icardi is apparently seen is being more likely to suit Real’s style of play and the fact he already speaks Spanish will help.
The Argentine is also thought of as less risky than Kane given other English players’ difficulties impressing in Spain.
Kane or Icardi’s arrival will mean Karim Benzema is probably pushed through the Bernabeu exit door.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale could also be offloaded as Real shake up their attack.
