Wenger on Aubameyang
Arsene Wenger says more details of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s move to Arsenal will be revealed on deadline day morning.
Arsenal looked in dire need of a striker as they went down 3-1 at Swansea on Tuesday night.
Wenger was quizzed about Aubameyang after the game.
He said: “We will know about that tomorrow morning.”
Deal agreed
It emerged this morning that a £55.5million deal between Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund has been agreed.
Aubameyang looked a shadow of his former self in the 2-2 draw with Freiburg last weekend, which appears to have convinced Dortmund to let him go.
Dortmund had maintained a resistant stance to Arsenal’s initial approaches of £35m and £40m.
The Gunners, who lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United, have eventually met Dortmund’s valuation.
Aubameyang contract
Aubameyang will sign a £180,000-a-week contract at Arsenal.
It will make him their highest earner, with the club having previously refused to go over £200,000 a week for Sanchez.

Aubameyang is all set to join Arsenal - although some supporters will hope he didn’t watch tonight’s game.
Arsenal were undone by Swansea, despite taking the lead through Nacho Monreal.
It’s a long trip back to London from south Wales and Arsene Wenger is likely to be up early tomorrow to sort out the Aubameyang deal.

Aubameyang announcement
An official announcement on Aubameyang’s signing for Arsenal is not expected until transfer deadline day.
The Gunners face Swansea tonight, meaning most of their media team is likely to be focused on that game and not the Aubameyang launch.
Giroud to Chelsea
Aubameyang’s move to Arsenal could rest on Olivier Giroud.
Arsenal need to offload Giroud to make room for Aubameyang and a deal with Chelsea has been agreed.
But the France international still has to agree personal terms with the Stamford Bridge club.
That is expected to rumble on during deadline day, meaning Arsenal fans may have to wait a while before Aubameyang’s deal is complete.

Olivier Giroud may have played his last game for Arsenal
Wenger on Giroud
Giroud came on as a substitute during Arsenal's 3-1 loss at Swansea.
Wenger said: “It’s a possibility (he will leave)”.
“But all that will be decided tomorrow morning.
“We will inform you once that is more definite.”
What happens now…
Arsenal must play the waiting game and hope Giroud accepts the terms Chelsea offer him.
Giroud has been at Arsenal since 2012 and would likely expect a large signing on fee and wage increase, with a move to Chelsea likely to be his last big transfer.
Aubameyang has agreed his terms and Arsenal’s media launch (tweets, videos, interviews, etc.) will be in the can by the morning.
So, the Gunners waiting game begins…
