The Bosnian striker has been in negotiations with Chelsea after the two clubs agreed terms for a transfer.
However, talks have only been held over the phone and not in person because of a visa issue.
That is according to Bosnian journalist Haris Mrkonja, who claims to have spoken to the striker’s agent.
He explains that once a visa is granted then the deal should be wrapped up as the striker wishes to move back to the Premier League.
Haris Mrkonja wrote on Twitter.
He claims he still isn't in London, and still waiting for his British visa.
“I talked with #Dzeko agent over the phone,” Mrkonja wrote on Twitter.
“He claims he still isn't in London, and still waiting for his British visa.
“Contacts with #CFC proceed over the phone.
“Only when he gets his visa he'll be able to travel to #London.”
