Arsenal news: Olivier Giroud’s agent makes strange claim about Aubameyang swap deal
ARSENAL striker Olivier Giroud’s agent has been coy about a potential move to Borussia Dortmund for his client.
Olivier Giroud could leave Arsenal before the January transfer window closes
Giroud, who has struggled to cement a first-team spot at the Gunners this season, could head out of the Emirates before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.
Arsenal are hoping to tie up a deal for wantaway Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang supposedly already agreeing a three-and-half-year contract.
It is also said Dortmund have approached the Gunners over Giroud, but supposedly it has no bearings on Aubameyang’s switch.
And Guardian journalist Ed Aarons quoted Giroud’s agent, Michael Manuello, who was pressed about a possible move to Germany for his client.

Today it is just rumours but tomorrow it could become a reality. Maybe
He said: “Today it is just rumours but tomorrow it could become a reality. Maybe.”
Manuello confirmed last week that Giroud would listen to offers before deciding what to do next.
He said: “He listens, looks and after he will see.
"Leaving to leave has no use. It has to be coherent and it gives him something more.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is inching closer to Arsenal
"He will have playing time at Arsenal, the second part of the season is important, with competitions to play, even if he is only the Europa League.
“The clubs in Turkey? That does not interest him. China either.
“Leaving to earn more money is not what's important in his state of mind."
Giroud’s current contract expires in 18 months’ time.
