Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger opens up on Theo Walcott transfer to Everton
ARSENE WENGER has suggested he will let Theo Walcott leave the club amid interest from Everton.
Arsene Wenger seems to have opened the door for Theo Walcott to leave Arsenal
Theo Walcott has been a bit-part figure at Arsenal this season, spending much of his time on the bench.
The 28-year-old has not started a single Premier League game for the Gunners this term but is attracting interest from elsewhere.
Everton boss Sam Allardyce has admitted the Toffees are in talks for a loan move for Walcott with the possibility of a permanent deal.
And Arsene Wenger has admitted he will not deny the winger the opportunity to seek regular game time - especially with his World Cup hopes potentially in jeopardy.

When asked if Walcott would be given more games at Arsenal this season, Wenger replied: “I cannot give him assurances as it is not honest.
“We will see. We have a good relationship.
“I don’t want him to lose an opportunity to go to the World Cup.
“He went in 2006 and we are now in 2018 and he hasn’t been since for different reasons.”
When probed on Allardyce’s comments that negotiations with Everton were already underway, the Gunners boss added: “I cannot tell you much more.
“Sam has made that statement but Theo Walcott is here.”
Speaking at Everton’s press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash with Tottenham, Allardyce said: “If that's at all possible that would be nice [a deal for Walcott].
"It's not imminent but negotiations are going on and we're hoping to negotiate a permanent deal.
“I’ll be very excited and enthused when someone, even if it's not Theo has signed on the dotted line."
