Coutinho was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player today after the club agreed to pay Liverpool £142million at the weekend.
Luis Suarez admitted his delight at being able to reunite with his former team-mate at Anfield while fellow Brazilian Paulinho also praised Coutinho’s arrival.
He was targeted as a replacement to Neymar, who went on to join Paris Saint-Germain for a world-record fee, in the summer.
And while Neymar is no longer at the Nou Camp, he wished his friend good luck on the move, via his Instagram page, before questioning Coutinho’s hairstyle accompanied with laughing emojis.
“Very happy for you brother Philippe Coutinho I wish you all the success of the world,” Neymar said.
“I’m sure you'll be very happy and tell me this hair is fashionable.”
However, the 25-year-old will have to wait to make his Barcelona debut after the club confirmed he would be out of action for three weeks.

"Coutinho has an injury to his right thigh and he is expected to be out for around three weeks," the club said.
It means Coutinho’s first game for his new club could come in the rivalry match between Barcelona and Espanyol on February 2.
The attacking midfielder spent six months on loan from Inter Milan at Espanyol back in 2012 where he scored five goals in 16 matches.
