Chelsea news: Radja Nainggolan back on Conte's wishlist, relationship with Roma damaged
CHELSEA are reportedly back in the hunt for Radja Nainggolan this month as it emerges the relationship between the Belgian and Roma is not as good as it once was.
Chelsea are once again keen on signing Roma and Belgium midfielder Radja Nainggolan
Nainggolan has forged a reputation as one of European football's most fearsome combative midfielders during his stint at the Stadio Olimpico.
And Antonio Conte has wanted him to swap Serie A for the Premier League ever since he filled the Stamford Bridge hotseat in 2016.
Conte has already added Ross Barkley to his midfield ranks during the winter transfer window, tying up a £15m deal yesterday.
The latest reports suggest he's not stopping there though, with Nainggolan firmly in his sights once again.
Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web claim Nainggolan joining Chelsea is a distinct possibility this month.
And that's apparently because the bond between the 29-year-old and Roma has been damaged.
Chelsea are said to have returned "to the office", suggesting contact has been made.

And they will likely step up their pursuit as they look for players to help them close the gap on Manchester City.
Nainggolan is not the only Serie A star on Conte's shopping list this month.
The former Juventus boss likes the look of the Turin club's left-back Alex Sandro too.
