Harry Kane to Real Madrid: Mauricio Pochettino tells player he must demand transfer first
MAURICIO POCHETTINO says Harry Kane will NOT be sold to Real Madrid unless the striker requests a transfer to the Bernabeu.
Spurs boss insists he 'trusts' Levy to resist Kane offers
Tottenham manager Pochettino was speaking on Spanish TV show El Chiringuito.
Real Madrid have been linked with a mega-money move for Kane - either in this transfer window or in the summer.
Spurs have lost Luka Modric and Gareth Bale to Real Madrid in recent seasons.
And Pochettino admits he isn’t sure how Spurs will react if Kane were to hand in a transfer request.
"As Tottenham coach I would say that if Madrid come in with a bid, we don't want to sell, because he will stay here and they will have to understand that," Pochettino told El Chiringuito.

If the player requests to leave, as happened with Modric and Bale… we'll see what happens
"If the player requests to leave, as happened with Modric and Bale… we'll see what happens.
“Today, that has not happened.
“I hope that Harry Kane can stay here for many years and provide many goals, wins and a title. That is what we want."
There is no indication right now that Kane is interested in ditching Spurs for the Bernabeu.
Harry Kane scored 39 Premier League goals in 2017 and already boasts 18 for the current season.
He is expected to lead the line for England at the World Cup next summer, where his transfer value could rise even higher should he have a good tournament.
Real Madrid are tipped to axe Bale at the end of the season, with a move back to the Premier League mooted.
There were reports Real would be willing to pay £150m PLUS Bale to land Kane before the start of next season.
Eden Hazard, Daley Blind and Thibaut Courtois are three other Premier League players supposedly on Real’s radar.
