Real Madrid news: Barcelona defeat makes Zinedine Zidane sack talk ‘comical’ - Henry
THIERRY HENRY finds it ‘comical’ that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane’s future is being questioned.
Zinedine Zidane: Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player
Zidane was humiliated by Barcelona in El Clasico yesterday as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat at the Bernabeu.
The result left Barca 14 points clear of their bitter rivals at the top of La Liga.
Although Zidane’s men enjoyed a hugely successful year which saw them lift the League, Champions League and Club World Cup, the Frenchman is likely to be scrutinised after the manner of the loss to the Catalan giants.
But Henry, who previously played for Barca during his illustrious career, thinks Zidane should be cut some slack.

To even talk about Zizou getting the sack is comical to me with what he has done
“To even talk about Zizou getting the sack is comical to me with what he has done," he told Sky Sports.
"Can he not have a little pause on the run that he had with his team?
“It goes with the job, because when you don't perform they ask questions, but come on, he has done a tremendous job."
Henry also thinks Zidane has revitalised Real since taking over.

He added: “Today, for me, shouldn't kill what Zizou put in place.
“People will tell me that he has the players, he has this and he has that, but still, Zizou did it by putting in Casemiro.
"Today, I think what he tried to do with Kovacic was to not let Barcelona control the midfield.
“The only thing you can say is that at one point, they forgot about playing, as they were so focused on stopping Barcelona. But I don't think overall the tactics were bad."
