Premier League table: Every team compared to last season after Gameweek 14
MANCHESTER CITY currently have 10 more points than at this stage last season, but Pep Guardiola's high-fliers are not the most improved team in the Premier League.
Which Premier League team has improved the most compared to this stage last season?
City are eight points clear at the top of the Premier League after yet another last-gasp win, with Raheem Sterling popping up at the right time to sink Southampton at the Etihad last night.
Guardiola’s side were only fourth after 14 matches last year, but have now accumulated the the joint-best tally ever at this stage of a top-flight campaign with 40 points.
Plenty of other top-flight sides have also seen dramatic improvements this season, with Leicester City and Burnley just a couple of surprise packages putting in consistently strong displays.
At the other end of the table Crystal Palace are currently rock bottom with nine points, but the Eagles are not the side which have fallen furthest compared to this stage last campaign.
