Liverpool have long been linked with a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, ever since Jurgen Klopp made the move from Borussia Dortmund to Anfield.
Rumours of a deal for the Gabon international have resurfaced this week amid reports he is unsettled at the Signal Iduna Park.
The 28-year-old was sent off in the 4-4 draw in the derby with Schalke at the weekend, leading to huge criticism from the fans.
However, Aubameyang’s brother Willy had dismissed claims he wants to leave and insisted he is fully focused on staying at Dortmund.

“The thing is over now. He just wants to win and score many goals,” he told German newspaper Bild.
“He is still completely in Dortmund with his head.”
When asked if his brother had considered leaving Dortmund in the upcoming January transfer window, he added: “We’re not talking about that.”
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has also revealed he has held talks with Aubameyang since the Schalke game in which he has pledged his future to the club.
“We had a talk last week and we clearly said that he’s completely with us and I’m happy about that,” Watzke said.
“We had some good talks last week and I’ve seen an Aubameyang who gave his very best, his absolute very best.
“To be honest, I don’t like the way Aubameyang was treated in previous days.
“In plain language, how often has Aubameyang saved our asses with his goals?”
