Leeds vs Derby County: Rams star Bradley Johnson fearing Whites ‘reaction’
LEEDS UNITED will be desperate for a “reaction” against Derby County tonight (7.45pm).
Leeds vs Derby County: Bradley Johnson
That is according to Derby midfielder Bradley Johnson, whose team travel to Elland Road looking for their fourth win on the bounce.
Leeds suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Sheffield United last Friday - their fourth loss in five games.
And ex-Whites ace Johnson is expecting a “hostile” atmosphere at Elland Road.
He said: “The fans up there are terrific, they’ve got a great fanbase, but our away fans make a lot of noise and I’m sure it will be a hostile game.
“They’ll want a reaction after their result on Friday, so hopefully it’ll be a good game with a good atmosphere and we can get the three points.”
Johnson was sent off in a 1-0 defeat at Leeds last term, and he is hoping to make amends tonight.
He said: “Last season wasn’t good, but we’re on a good run, we’re confident, and we feel that we can go into any game and get the result, so hopefully we can do that on Tuesday.”
Derby boss Gary Rowett has used Johnson in three midfield positions this season.

And the 30-year-old said: “I’ll play anywhere as long as I’m picked, I’ll always give 100 per cent.
“The gaffer wants me to get forward and to get in the box, but also I can tuck in and help the midfield to win the ball back.
“Obviously there are some positions that I prefer, but I’ll do a job for the team.
“I’m a goalscoring midfielder and I enjoy scoring goals, but you can’t pick and choose where you want to play.”
