Dele Alli could sign Tottenham deal before agent change, would still be behind Harry Kane
DELE ALLI could sign a new contract with Tottenham before he switches agents, according to reports.
The 21-year-old signed a new six-year deal last September and currently takes home £50,000 a week.
Reports last month suggested the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid are keeping a watchful eye over his situation and could be ready to pounce.
After a meteoric rise in north London, super agents Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola are vying for his services.
Spurs have so far repeatedly maintained Alli is not for sale.
And according to the Daily Telegraph, the club are confident they will get him to commit to a new deal which could see his weekly wages rise to £80,000 a week which would see him surpass Christian Eriksen.
Dele Alli could sign a new Tottenham before he changes his agent
The midfielder is quite far down the list of the best-paid players at Spurs, with Harry Kane their top earner on £100,000 a week.
The Telegraph also claim the new contract with Alli could be struck before he changes agents.
It is suggested there is a strong desire on the club’s part to raise his salary without compromising their pay structure.
Harry Kane is currently Tottenham's highest earner
Alli has come under fire this term for his behaviour for club and country.
He was booked for diving in the 4-0 win away to Huddersfield last weekend.
And he missed England’s 1-0 win over Slovenia to ensure World Cup qualification on Thursday for a middle-finger gesture against Slovakia.
