Osman: Coutinho will move to Barcelona but Liverpool in 'driving seat'
That is the opinion of former Liverpool defender, assistant manager and pundit Phil Thompson.
Klopp’s side beat Hoffenheim 2-1 on Tuesday in their Champions League play-off first leg, so has seen fit to rotate several of his stars.

The five to make way are new signing Mohamed Salah, defenders Alberto Moreno, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dejan Lovren and midfielder Emre Can.
Liverpool v Crystal Palace: Jurgen Klopp is wrong to make five changes, says Phil Thompson
Five changes is a big thing in the Premier League, it’s maybe taking liberties against Crystal Palace
Palace were beaten 3-0 by Huddersfield on the opening day last Saturday but Thompson says that is no excuse for making so many alterations to the starting XI for Klopp, especially against an opposition they often struggle with.

“This is still going to be a tough game.
Liverpool v Crystal Palace: Jurgen Klopp's team selection was questioned
“It’s a tall order to get five changes in this side.
“Lovren’s missing out as well, I’d like to think there would be a bit of continuity in that back four.
“But he’s gone for the changes, the left-back, the right-back and the centre-back as well.”
Liverpool went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Sadio Mane.
