Barcelona tell Juventus star Dybala they do not want to sign him as Neymar replacement
BARCELONA are reportedly no longer interested in signing Juventus star Paulo Dybala.
Linekar: Barcelona is very difficult to turn down for Coutinho
Barcelona are desperate to find a replacement for Neymar, who joined Paris Saint-Germain in a world-record deal worth £198million.
The Catalan giants have identified Borussia Dortmund ace Ousmane Dembele and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho as potential options to fill the void left behind by Neymar.
Barca have been unrelenting in their pursuit of Coutinho, but the Reds rejected a transfer request from their prize asset.
Dembele, meanwhile, has been suspended by Dortmund after he skipped training without the club's permission on Thursday.
Barcelona no longer want to sign Paulo Dybala
Reports emerged earlier this week indicating Real Madrid had held secret talks to try and sign Dybala.
Although the23-year-old has seen his stock rise at Juventus, it appears Barca heave closed the door on a potential transfer.
Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo claim Barca do not think Dybala can work with Lionel Messi as the pair are 'incompatible'.
The report adds Barca have directly told the Argentine he's no longer a target.
The search for Neymar's replacement continues
Dybala and Messi have previously linked to devastating effect while on international duty.
Dybala only recently signed a new deal, keeping him with Juve until 2022.
He helped the Bianconeri win the Serie A title last term as well as guiding them to the Champions League final.
