The Blues are chasing a striker to replace Diego Costa after missing out on Romelu Lukaku.
Aubameyang, 28, is on their transfer wish-list and former Premier League striker Fjortoft thinks a move could happen.
That’s providing Chelsea come up with a huge offer for the Gabon hitman, who is regarded as one of the best strikers in world football.
Fjortoft tweeted: “Got the feeling that Aubameyang will leave Dortmund if the offer is right (high). PSG and Chelsea look likely. But must happen soon.”

Asked if he’d do well at Chelsea, Fjortoft replied: ”You never know. Aubameyang scores goals for fun. And will enough chances playing for the reigning champions.”
Dortmund will demand £70million for Aubameyang if he is to leave this summer.
He’s already told club chiefs he wants to leave with both AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain already holding talks to sign him.
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke wants him to stay and revealed last week they hadn’t received any offers.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has also been linked with Paris St-Germain
He said: "We will wait a few more days but not long anymore.
"I would personally prefer if he stays, but there are a few clubs on this planet where he can obviously earn more."
Aubameyang was the top-scorer in the Bundesliga last season with 31 goals in 32 games.
