Arsenal chief Ivan Gazidis: We're looking to sign world-class players
IVAN GAZIDIS insists Arsenal will be ambitious in the transfer window and seek to sign top players.
Arsene Wenger will be handed a kitty in excess of £100million in order to help turn his side into title contenders next term.
Alexandre Lacazette has emerged as a top striking target, while interest appears to have cooled in Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.
A move for Thomas Lemar is in the pipeline, although reports have emerged indicating Barcelona have joined the chase for his signature.
And Gazidis believes Wenger will be sufficiently backed to land his dream targets.
In reference to last summer, Gazidis said: “We spent an unprecedented amount. Over £110million during that summer.
