JAMES RODRIGUEZ'S proposed move to Manchester United from Real Madrid is a surprise according to Tony Gale.

Rodriguez has been reportedly offered to Manchester United by Real Madrid for around £50million this summer.
The Colombian has been out of favour at the Bernabeu and has been heavily linked with an exit from the La Liga giants for most of the season.
Gale believes he would be a great signing for United but is shocked he will be allowed to leave Real.

I'm surprised they might be letting him go but if he does go to Manchester United, t's the type of quality player and different kind of player that Man United need
"It's the type of quality player they've got to bring in," the former West Ham star said on Sky Sports.
"I'm surprised they're letting him go because they do keep hold of those type of players even if they're not getting in the team.
"They've got the financial clout to keep hold of some of those players.

Rodriguez appeared to wave goodbye to Real Madrid fans after the 4-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday.
