That is according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, who claim frank talks between Neymar and the coach yesterday have soured their relationship.
Unzue has warned Neymar to focus on his football and even suggested the Brazil captain could suffer the same dip that blighted Ronaldinho's career at Barcelona.
Neymar is said to have been furious with Unzue's reference to the one-time world footballer of the year Ronaldinho, whose decline began midway through his five-year stint in Spain.

The paper quotes Neymar as saying "if he stays, I'm leaving," in reference to Unzue's possible appointment.
A former goalkeeper, Unzue had a brief stint at the Nou Camp club in the late 1980s.
Were Unzue to be appointed manager, Neymar would have no shortage of suitors to take him away from the Nou Camp.

Manchester United have already tried and failed to land the 25-year-old, while Paris Saint-Germain may be an option.
Neymar is also currently embroiled in allegations of tax fraud regarding the full fee of his transfer to Barcelona from Santos in 2013.
The Brazilian and his parents have been ordered to court over a £22million portion of the fee.
