Man United handed transfer boost: Future of £17m winger target to be decided this week
MANCHESTER UNITED have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Galatasaray star Bruma, according to reports.
Bruma's future at Galatasaray will be decided this week
Bruma, 22, has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United in recent seasons with the player himself revealing in December last year that he would "love" to work under Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
He has established himself as a key first-team player at Galatasaray this season after spending time on loan at Real Sociedad last term.
Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Bruma to Manchester United
But Galatasaray sporting director Levent Nazifoglu recently confirmed that Bruma wants to leave following an alleged bust-up with coach Igor Tudor.
And Turkish newspaper Milliyet claim Bruma's future at the club will be decided this week at Gala's upcoming budget conference on Saturday.
Galatasaray were recently banned from European competition for failing to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations and if their economic outlook is bleak they may be left with no choice but to sell Bruma.
Bruma has scored eight goals for Galatasaray this season
The Turkish giants do not want to risk losing Bruma on a free transfer in 2018 when his contract expires, so will consider selling him this summer for around £17million.
This will come as a huge boost for United, who have been long-term admirers of Bruma.
Bruma has scored eight goals in 22 Super Lig appearances for Galatasaray this season.
