Everton boss Ronald Koeman is said to be looking to strengthen his attacking options this summer, with loanee Enner Valencia and out-of-contract Arouna Kone both set to leave.
There are also doubts over the future of Toffees' leading goalscorer Romelu Lukaku, who recently expressed his desire to join a Champions League club.
Everton are aware that Leeds will struggle to keep hold of Wood should they fail to gain promotion to the Premier League this term.
Ronald Koeman keen to bolster attacking options in the summer
Leeds, who paid Leicester just £2.5million for Wood in 2015, will reportedly want at least £15m to consider selling their prized asset.
The New Zealand international has spent most of his career in the Championship and has scored just once in the Premier League - a late equaliser for Leicester against Everton in 2014.
