Schweinsteiger currently earns around £140,000 a week at United, but could be willing to take a pay cut in order to seal a move away from the club and secure regular game time.

The German has endured a torrid time under Mourinho, being banished to the reserves and even being left out of the official squad photo at the start of the season.
Mourinho has backtracked slightly as the season has progressed by recalling Schweinsteiger to first-team training and playing him in the 4-0 FA Cup victories over Reading and Wigan.
But United look set to tear up his contract in order to facilitate a move to the USA.
