Jamie Carragher: Why this Liverpool ace could leave in the summer
JAMIE CARRAGHER believes Emre Can may be on his way out of Liverpool.
Emre Can could be on his way out of Liverpool this summer
The Germany midfielder has been inconsistent this season under Jurgen Klopp.
Can, 23, has started 16 Premier League games and been a substitute on six occasions.
He scored in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Burnley but has been moved about in the midfield this term.

Emre Can has been inconsistent this term with Jurgen Klopp moving him around the midfield
Jordan Henderson has been Klopp’s preference at the base of midfield and Can doesn’t really suit the other roles in the side.
“Can's big problem is that I don't think he's a versatile player but he's played in four or five positions for Liverpool,” former Liverpool defender Carragher said on Sky Sports.
“The only position I think he can play is the one he played [against Burnley], the sitting midfielder, because he needs legs around him. [Klopp] is playing Jordan Henderson ahead of him.”

And with Can out of contract next summer and stalling on a new deal, Carragher thinks he could be off.
“He's got a contract situation at the moment, Emre Can. Is he going to sign it? Is he not? I think he may have 12 months at the end of the season,” Carragher added.
“There is a good chance he may not be here next season. I don't see, when the first XI is picked, where else he can play except that role.
“That role is for the captain Jordan Henderson, who I can see how much he is missed in the last three or four games he's been out.”
