Arsenal legend speaks out on Alexis Sanchez’s future: This is what I would do
IAN WRIGHT has admitted he would leave Arsenal if he were in Alexis Sanchez’s position.
The best of Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez
Arsene Wenger dropped Alexis Sanchez from his starting XI for the 3-1 defeat away to Liverpool yesterday.
Sanchez has found himself linked to a cluster of Europe’s top clubs, with recent reports suggesting Juventus are eyeing a move and are prepared to offload two players to fund a deal.
And former Arsenal star-turned-pundit Wright is adamant he would be looking for the exit door if he was in Sanchez’s shoes.
“No. If I can’t get into the Arsenal team when they come to places like Anfield, when you need to win to stay in the top four and consolidate what they did last season,” Wright told BT Sport when asked what he would choose to do if faced with a similar situation to Sanchez.

“We’re not challenging for anything - there’s a good chance Arsenal will go out of the Champions League.
“He is a sought-after player. I would be sitting in the dressing room as Sanchez was and I’m sure his agent is making phone calls now.”
Sanchez, who set up Danny Welbeck’s goal, is the club’s top scorer with 17 Premier League strikes.
