Manchester United scout spotted at Serie A game: Three transfer targets identified
MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly sent a scout to Italy yesterday to watch three players in the Napoli v Atalanta game.
Franck Kessie has admitted he wants to join Manchester United
Manchester United had a scout in attendance to watch Atalanta's 2-0 win over Napoli yesterday at the Stadio San Paolo.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claims the United official was in attendance to run the rule over three players.
Napoli pair Elseid Hysaj and Piotr Zielinski as well as Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie are said to have been the Premier League club's targets.
Elseid Hysaj and Piotr Zielinski are also targets for Manchester United
Piotr Zielinski - 5 things you need to know
Kessie has been tipped to join United in the summer and he admitted this week a move to Old Trafford would be his 'dream'.
"I like the Premier League and in particular Manchester United, the club I dream of playing for," he said.
"Chelsea? That is also a big club, nobody would turn them down, but I dream of United."
Zielinski is more of a surprise target for the Red Devils - especially given Liverpool's long-standing interest in the 22-year-old.
But Hysaj's move to United would make sense as the attacking right-back could offer cover and competition for Antonio Valencia next season.
Matteo Darmian also looks set to leave the club after struggling for regular game time under Jose Mourinho this season, paving the way for Hysaj's arrival.
