GARETH BALE is out of Real Madrid's Champions League squad for tomorrow's clash with Napoli, the club have confirmed.
Real Madrid have left Gareth Bale out of their Champions League squad for tomorrow night
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale was hoping to rush back to full fitness for the last-16 first leg at the Bernabeu.
But the Wales star will not be risked.
Real have released their 19-man squad for tomorrow's 7.45pm clash with Serie A side Napoli, with Bale's name off the list.
The forward has returned to Real Madrid training after seemingly recovering from an ankle injury.
Head coach Zinedine Zidane even said earlier that Bale could play a part in the game.
“He’s back in the group, he’s trained twice and he’s fine,” Zidane said in his pre-match press conference.
“He’s recovered, so we’ll see if he’ll be called-up. He spent three months out so we must proceed with caution."
Bale will not be risked for the clash against Napoli
Bale has not played for Real Madrid since November
